Filipiniana Clothes

To celebrate Buwan ng Wika (Filipino Language Month), we have some clothes worn by most of our grandparents like the…

Kimona at Saya

The traditional kimona in cream color with a red ethnic print saya. A payneta inspired adornment on the head and the antique brass long chain necklace completes the look. The Tango beaded sandals compliments the clothes.

Wear a camison to feel easy breezy in our tropical climate then put an alampay (shawl) on top of the camison when going out or to keep the chill off your shoulders.

A pink rose accents the head and with the Ballerina beaded sandals on the feet, this will surely make any Sylvanian lady turn pink with envy.

The camison with alampay in light peach pink color with a red ethnic print saya and a stunning red rose to top it off.

Peach camison over an orange and fuschia plaid patadyong with the traditional alampay on the shoulders.

These clothes may also be worn by your lolo and lola to awaken their nostalgia of days past.

*All clothes and beaded sandals on this post may be ordered and specially sewn for you. Please contact us if you like what you see and if you have any special requests for a specific style or color. Ring us! We’ll be glad to hear from you! 

  1. I have been searching for descriptions and titles of traditional Filipino garments for a while. Your bunnies are sooo cute! And your descriptions are exactly what I was looking for 🙂 Beautiful work!

  2. Madame C,

I love it!! Cool looks and tailor fits the event.

  3. Thank you Kittymama! I find it incomplete without the blings and footwear!

  4. You are awesome!!! 🙂 What I like best about your clothes is that they’re always a complete “look”- from fabulous hair accessories to glam footware, even bling-blings! Great job, Madame C!

Bug me about it! Express your thoughts here.
